Grey’s Anatomy season 14: Sarah Drew, Jessica Capshaw wrap filming
In a series of posts on Twitter from Thursday, both actresses have confirmed that the two parties are officially done with the series. They each had a great run, pouring constant energy and fantastic performances into just about every episode that they were a part of. It’s still a little bit difficult to imagine the series without them, even if we’re not going to have to see that until at some point this fall.
For Drew in particular, the good news is that we may not have to wait too long at all in order to see her back on TV. She is one of the stars alongside Michelle Hurd of a new Cagney & Lacey series that could be coming to CBS for the 2018-19 season. It’s too early to tell whether or not this is going to be picked up to series but we do think the show managing to get an actress of Drew’s caliber on board is a pretty major boost on the road to making that happen. She’ll bring fans in almost right away! Hopefully, there is also a major series role for Capshaw coming at some point in the near future.
