Grey’s Anatomy season 14 episode 21 preview: The Harper Avery crisis

Grey's Anatomy season 14 episode 21Even though Harper Avery may not be around anymore, it just so turns out that the character will still have a role to play on Grey’s Anatomy season 14 episode 21 — even if it is a most unfortunate one. It seems as though the character’s horrible past of harassment and misconduct is coming back to haunt him and with that, they’re going to need a little bit of outside help. It’s too bad that there isn’t a Scandal crossover that could be thrown in here given that this could be the sort of crisis Olivia Pope could’ve helped with.

Ironically, there is going to be a different Olivia who turns up during this episode — Nurse Olivia, who was a key cog in some of the earlier seasons of the show. For those of you who remember vintage Grey’s Anatomy fondly, this episode should give you a good chance to reminiscent. Check out more of the details below of what to expect:

The hospital brings in crisis management to help them sort out allegations against Harper Avery. Meanwhile, Nurse Olivia shows up at Grey Sloan with her son, throwing Alex and Jo for a loop; and Arizona decides to spend more time with Sofia who is having a hard time at school.

We’ll be the first to admit that anytime we see a story these days involving Arizona our immediate thought is that it could be something that takes the character away from the hospital — if Jessica Capshaw is leaving at the end of the season, doesn’t that mean in turn that there needs to be a good reason for Arizona to depart? We’re watching for that in almost every episode at this point and the same goes for April, given some of the news that is already out there in regards to that character. We’re in the home stretch of season 14 at this point; remember here that there are only four more episodes to go of the series including this one, and that should lead to a desire for some closure.
