Big Brother Canada 6 live feed spoilers: Veto players; surprising drama (day 50)

William Kenny

We’re fifty days into Big Brother Canada 6 and, at present, we’re starting to see people totally crack within the game.

Take, for example, Will getting put into full-on meltdown mode just because of the fact that he wasn’t picked to play in the Power of Veto Competition a little bit later today. The players were chosen earlier this morning and it was revealed that Head of Household Johnny is going to be competing alongside nominees Derek and Kaela and then also Ali, Maddy, and Paras. Olivia and Will aren’t taking part and for Will in particular, he can’t figure out why for the life of him Kaela chose Ali when she got Houseguest’s Choice during the Veto draw.

We don’t actually think that this is all that hard to figure out — Kaela is obviously interested in competing against people who aren’t altogether great in challenges. Olivia has won before and, in theory, Will could win something even though he hasn’t. Yet, Will thinks that she made some sort of terrible mistake since she made it so much easier for Derek to win and for her to go home. Personally, we don’t think it matters and Will’s just being a baby because he’s not getting to play. He even brought up today that he’s tired and just wants to go home. (There was a time earlier this season where it seemed like he had a chance to win this game but we deeply regret that sentiment now. It’s hard to imagine him beating too many people remaining since he hasn’t had any power or been that much of a driving force as of late.)

This feels like a cut-and-dry competition. Whoever loses it, if one of Derek and Kaela win, will end up going home. There’s not that much incentive for anyone else to try and win since they don’t need to make that decision — unless of course there’s some sort of monetary prize. That’s the one thing that Big Brother Canada has done very well this season — forced some of the houseguests to make big decisions in returns for cash. There’s less Veto-throwing this way.
