Supergirl season 3 episode 15 spoilers: ‘In Search of Lost Time’

Supergirl

When it comes to cool episode titles, we’ll go ahead and say that we’re rather fond of what Supergirl season 3 episode 15 (airing on April 23) is bringing to the table: “In Search of Lost Time.” It’s a reference to the complicated dynamics at the center of the series and how time does impact people differently. For example, characters like Myr’nn and J’onn J’onzz have a very different sort of lifespan than characters like Winn Schott or Alex Danvers. Meanwhile, you also have characters like Mon-El who have experienced the passage of time in ways that are very different from anyone else.

On this episode, you could see Kara learning some of what Mon-El has figured out through his own journey, while at the same time also seeing a rather surprising crisis take hold while at the DEO.

The Supergirl season 3 episode 15 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below (via SpoilerTV) offers up some more news when it comes to what lies ahead:

Myr’nn inadvertently causes psychic disturbances at the DEO; Supergirl must work with J’onn to contain the chaos; Mon-El begins training Kara in fighting techniques he’s learned in the future.

Just in reading that alone it’s possible that this episode (much like the show’s April 16 return) is going to be an episode that doesn’t focus as much on Reign or the Worldkillers. At the moment, she may be off training Purity to be equally as dangerous as her. We know that Odette Annable isn’t contracted to appear in every episode this season so there are probably going to be some hiatuses before we get to the home stretch; at that point, it’s possible that she will appear in almost every episode until the story of Reign is concluded once and for all (potentially) in the finale. We suppose that it’s possible Sam finds a way to stick around without being Reign, but we’re not going to get our hopes up on that.

As of right now, Supergirl season 3 episode 15 seems to be an especially-great one if you’re a fan of the J’onn J’onzz character. We know that there is a lot of great storytelling to be explored here; with that in mind, hopefully the series delivers and sets up something great for J’onn and his father moving into the end of the season.
