Lethal Weapon season 2 episode 19 spoilers: Who’s getting married?

Lethal Weapon season 2 episode 19 looks like it’s going to be a very entertaining episode; that is pretty clear from the title alone in “Leo Getz Hitched.” This installment is going to revolve in part around getting to see Thomas Lennon back on the show but beyond that, there’s also going to be a surprising case that seems to come out as a result of it.

When Riggs and Murtaugh attend Leo Getz’s (guest star Thomas Lennon) surprise wedding, they end up investigating a missing person. Then, Riggs comes face to face with someone from his past and Murtaugh receives news that might change his life forever.

Obviously, we know that there are going to be some dramatic moments within this episode and some of those could come from seeing some of the individual Riggs and Murtaugh storylines. Nonetheless, this doesn’t take away from the fact that the story we are the most excited to see at the moment is the one revolving Getz — he’s a character we don’t get to see nearly as much as we like, and to go along with that he does hold a certain degree of value for anyone else out there who remembers the character fondly from the movies.

We just hope that the presence of Getz alone is going to do something in terms of moving the ratings needle for the show in a more positive direction and getting some good conversations going at the end of this season. We absolutely do think that the series needs some of that given how much it’s been off the air as of late. (The show is going to be returning on Tuesday following a lengthy hiatus, but it’s still been off the air for a long time!)
