Shadowhunters season 3 episode 2 sneak peek: Dinner-date hunting
As you may know already, one of the major storylines within this episode is going to revolve around Magnus and Alec attending a party in honor of the new High Warlock Lorenzo Rey; meanwhile, also in this episode you could see Jace doing what he can in order to give Clary a normal-but-memorable date. When you are a Shadowhunter, the odds are fairly low that you are going to have an abundance of free time. Therefore Jace wants to do the best job that he possibly can — with that in mind, he’s also going to need a little bit of help to go along with it.
In the new sneak peek that CarterMatt has for you below, you can see Jace doing what he can in order to plan the perfect date, and with that in mind he raised an all-important question to Izzy — what would be the perfect place to take Clary? Unfortunately, Izzy tells him that he may be asking the wrong person. Both Magnus and Alec have far more experience when it comes to New York restaurants, but as we just mentioned they’re a little bit busy.

Over the course of this episode we’re hoping to see some sort of peace for Clace … but we’re also very much aware that this is unlikely. Jace is still suffering from the aftereffects of being back and to make matters worse, he is not being altogether forthcoming about all of it. Sooner or later, something is probably going to happen and it’s going to be hard for anyone to help him or understand what’s going on.
