Call the Midwife season 7 episode 3 preview (PBS): A beauty pageant; a big secret

Call the Midwife season 7 episode 3

Want to know what is coming up on Call the Midwife season 7 episode 3? You’ve had a chance to now enjoy the first two episodes of the series and in one week’s time, there are going to be opportunities aplenty to see things build. Some stories from the first two episodes are going to start to rise in intensity, and that includes Magda’s arrival on the scene. She’s going to play a very interesting role on next week’s new episode, but it isn’t quite going to transpire in the way in which you would think.

Below, the Call the Midwife season 7 episode 3 synopsis offers up some other insight as to what is coming up next:

A mother abandons her children at the clinic, leaving the family devastated. When Violet and Fred organize a beauty contest for charity, Valerie and Magda both sign up and quickly become close friends—leading to the sharing of a terrible secret…

Basically, this synopsis should be a pretty big indicator of some of the many different stories that you can expect to see — some of them are going to be inspiring, whereas a few others are probably going to be devastating. At this point, how do you expect anything else from this series? This is far from the first rodeo for Call the Midwife on the air. This is what they do best, and we don’t quite imagine there being some huge inherent desire for them to shake things up or do anything that is altogether different moving forward.

This particular episode, though, does have a number of interesting, fun moments — it’s fun to have an opportunity to see the Poplar version of a beauty pageant, especially in terms of seeing how some of these characters react to being outside of their typical element.
