Shadowhunters season 3: The highs, lows ahead for Clary and Jace

Shadowhunters season 2 finale spoilers

The Shadowhunters season 3 premiere is airing on Freeform Tuesday night and, at the moment, it does appear as though many different relationships are going to be put to the test. Yet, at the same time there should still be some happy moments wedged in there for many of them — and that includes Clary and Jace. They’re still a pretty new relationship and there is going to be a honeymoon period; however, on the other side of this there could be all sorts of chaos that unravels.

If you do want to get a little bit more news on that subject, be sure to check out below what series star Katherine McNamara had to say in a new interview with TV Guide:

“This is the first time that the two of them have had a chance to really let their relationship grow and for them to love each other the way they’ve always wanted to … So moving forward, yes you do see a few moments of light romance and a few times where they can actually behave as a couple without dealing with the world ending around them.”

Then, there are of course the moments where the world is by and large ending all around them. How could you really expect anything different at the moment given some of what we know is happening across the board this season? You’ve got the arrival of Lilith for starters, and her presence is something for pretty much everyone to fear. She is smart, she is formidable, and she is going to do just about everything in her power to ensure that she gets virtually everything that she wants — including the revival of Jonathan.

Beyond just that, there’s also the issue of what happens with Jace after his resurrection. He’s not exactly going to be the same person that he was beforehand and that will become increasingly clear over time.
