The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 17: Kripke messes with Sheldon, Amy’s wedding plans

Out of all of the people who could mess with Sheldon and Amy’s wedding plans, who would have imagined moving into The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 17 that we could be seeing none other than Barry Kripke in that role? It’s a little bit of a surprise, but we are thrilled to get another appearance from John Ross Bowie on the show this season. With his gig over on Speechless such things are never guaranteed.

As for whether or not Kripke is intentionally interfering with Sheldon and Amy’s plans, that is not something we have an answer for at the moment. Just know that he is a part of the story. “The Athenaeum Allocation” – Leonard jumps through hoops to help secure the perfect wedding venue for Sheldon and Amy. Also, Bernadette and Wolowitz have a hard time deciding who should stay at home with the kids and who should go back to work, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Thursday, March 8 (8:00-8:31 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. John Ross Bowie returns as Kripke.

This synopsis does confirm that whether it be in either the March 1 episode (read more here) or the hiatus between now and then, Howard and Bernadette are going to welcome their second child into the world. There are a number of things worth looking forward to there, but we know that for us, we’re excited to learn the baby’s name and to see if it is an extension to science in the same way that Halley is. That is a big part of what makes The Big Bang Theory loved by many people — it doesn’t stray too far from its principal subject matter.

Is it possible that Howard and Bernadette could have another kid in the future? We’re wondering that, mostly because it would be ironic that the one character in Bernadette who didn’t want kids at first would be the one to have an enormous family by the end of everything.
