Scorpion season 4 episode 16 sneak peek: Paige’s sickness raises questions
If you’ve been following the show closely, then you may be aware already that there is some baby conversation coming in this episode. After all, we know that Happy and Toby have been trying to have a baby and this could be an episode where they get some more information on that. Yet, is it possible that some of this proposition is really just a smokescreen for a big Walter – Paige reveal? This new sneak peek below starts to make us wonder.
The setting for this preview is Valentine’s Day, and Walter being the romantic that he is wants to make the day as special as he can for his girlfriend. That includes presenting her with a wide array of different gifts, whether it be chocolates or flowers. Unfortunately, it’s pretty clear that Paige is not feeling well. She is not eating any of the chocolates and, when she does, she immediately vomits it up.
Now, it’s far too early to just assume that Paige is pregnant — she may just have the flu, which would interestingly be a case of writing clairvoyance given the fact that the flu is getting so many headlines right now away from the show.

No matter what’s going on with Paige, this is clearly a situation to watch in this episode — making her pregnant instead of Happy would be an interesting twist, mostly because it would twist expectations and also cause some interesting drama for the team. A part of Happy would obviously be thrilled for her friend, but it could also hurt given that she wants nothing more than to have a family. That’s what she wanted her entire life; yet, it remains very difficult for her while it seems to be so much easier for other people. Walter and Paige aren’t even trying for one, so for them to be expecting a baby together may be something that causes a rare severe emotional reaction from her.
