Once Upon a Time season 7 casts Beyond actor as Prince Naveen
According to a new report coming from Deadline, Jeff Pierre of Beyond fame is going to be appearing later on this season as the man who could win the heart of Mekia Cox’s character. He is described by the aforementioned website as “a fun loving, freewheeling adventurer who cares little about the dangers of the world. At least, that’s how it appears. In truth, Naveen’s easy exterior hides a heart struggling with a tragic past. One he is determined to make amends for, even if it means sacrificing everything he loves in the process.”
This character should prove himself to be an interesting edition to the series and a chance for Tiana in order to find a happy ending without it taking too long. That’s important given that there are only so many opportunities left this season — remember that the future of Once Upon a Time is still in a certain degree of ambiguity after this season.

As we move deeper into Once Upon a Time season 7, one of the interesting facets of the story will be seeing just how the showrunners choose to balance everything that lies ahead. Remember that you’ve got the Coven of Eight still to come, plus also talk about the Guardian, seeing what lies ahead for Henry and Cinderella, and then of course the best story to tell for the finale. We hope that ABC opts to make a decision one way or another when it comes to the series’ future — after all, you want to be able to craft the right narrative that suits what the show is up to both now and also in the past.
