Major Crimes season 6 episode 12: Stroh edges closer to end game, Rusty finds important clue

Major Crimes season 6 episode 12

With only 2 episodes left of Major Crimes, it’s safe to assume that things are about to go up a notch. Stroh is obviously searching for something and while that remains unknown, the squad is going to need to figure out a way to get ahead of Stroh or this won’t turn out so well for them. Either that or they need to realize they are being hacked. In next week’s episode the stakes are high.

Take a look at the full Major Crimes season 6 episode 12 synopsis below:

In the penultimate episode of Major Crimes, Phillip Stroh (Billy Burke) and his young British accomplice (Will Attenborough), edge closer and closer to their end game, while Lt. Provenza (G.W. Bailey) continues to push Asst. Chief Leo Mason (Leonard Roberts) into pouring more resources into the case. Rusty (Graham Patrick Martin) digs up an important clue.

In our opinion, this clue that Rusty is going to dig up sounds promising, but also dangerous at the same time. If DDA Emma Rios was killed because of what she knew then Rusty digging up an important clue might put him more at risk. If Rusty becomes more at risk, then Andy could also put himself in harm’s way as he protects Rusty. While we don’t want to see either hurt, seeing the two of them grow closer because of Stroh’s return and Sharon’s death would be great to see. They are family now and are going to need each other as they attempt to move on. This would be a great moment for them to embrace the fact that they need each other so much.

In regards to Stroh and his accomplice we want nothing more than the squad to catch on to their activities. However, it may seem that time is running out. If Stroh is close to his still unknown end game, then it’s going to be interesting to see how the squad to going to react. Or will they even know? Somehow we couldn’t help but notice that Sharon’s absence as left a strange vibe from the team. Something about her absence has the squad seemingly disorganized and all over the place. In previous episodes we admit that there were times when we were lost and confused by the sort of progress made, but at least progress was being made. While the squad is getting somewhere by digging up Stroh’s past by locating people who hold a connection to him, still something seems off.

We have full confidence the team will figure everything out with time, but it seems like time is running out. Digging up Stroh’s past is great, but now they have to start deciding what is useless and what is helpful. Mr. and Mrs. Betchal are clearly and key as is Mary Wellington. However, we know Stroh killed her and we know where she was buried; but how does this all fit together? Is there a third person who connects to Stroh and Mary that Stroh is looking for? There certainly could be. Obviously EP James Duff is holding a piece of information back and we are very intrigued by this. Who is Stroh looking for? Maybe he is looking for his child. Maybe after all unspeakable crimes, one resulted in him becoming a father. Or perhaps someone is lying about who they are.

Overall, there are 2 episodes left to conclude this amazing series that has made us cry, laugh, and scream with joy.
