The Librarians season 4 episode 7 preview: A shift in format
Now, competition is returning and TNT will start to slow things down slightly. Next week’s new episode carries with it the title of “…And the Disenchanted Forest,” which is intriguing both as a play on a common fairy-tale locale and also an interesting story that is probably going to unfold. At the center of this narrative is going to be (fittingly) a forest, one that could contain something fierce within.

When dissension threatens the group, Baird takes the Librarians to a charismatic self-help guru’s team building camp on the edge of a forest where people have been mysteriously disappearing. Is there a monster in the woods? Or is something more sinister going on? And can the Librarians get their team mojo back in time to defeat it?
One of the things that we really enjoy about the promo below for this episode is that it starts off like a perfect summer-camp romp before taking a turn of the strange … and exciting. Here’s the irony — has there ever been something set at summer camp that ended in a completely expected way? Think in terms of the short-lived Dead of Summer or Wet Hot American Summer. We anticipate that The Librarians will bring its own flair and imagination to the proceedings, which also more than likely includes plenty of fun.
The only bit of sad news to report here is that we’re so far along in this season at the moment! While The Librarians never sticks around for a long period of time, the double-episode format makes this batch shorter than most.
