Arrow season 6: Four characters who need to return before finale

Slade Wilson's son

Arrow season 6 is not on the air until the new year, but that’s not stopping us from speculating! While we know there are some good stories being told right now in between the show’s collection of bad guys and some of the trouble awaiting Oliver Queen as Mayor, there is still more that the show could bring to the table. To be specific, there are some characters we’d love to see back on the series again!

Much like we did recently with both The Flash and Supergirl, CarterMatt has assembled a group of characters we want to see back — all of them are Arrow specific this time around, largely because this is a show that has a ton of people who have some unfinished business.

Evelyn Sharp – What in the world happened to her? The writers did such a good job introducing Artemis and having her eventually betray Oliver and Prometheus. However, once they got past that moment it was hard to figure out what else to do with her. She wasn’t a capable enough character on her own to do battle with Oliver Queen, but maybe she finds another way to hurt him. Could she testify against him as a way to damage him publicly?

Walter Steele – One of our favorite characters from early on in the series’ run, someone with the capacity to be both warm but also mysterious and somewhat dangerous. Unfortunately, he hasn’t appeared since the second season and there doesn’t seem to be any hurry to bring him back.

Nyssa al Ghul – Remember the wedding with Oliver? That is one of many Nyssa moments that are memorable on this show — bringing her back honors the show’s history, and that on its own makes her special. Beyond that, though, Katrina Law is awesome and kills it in every scene. It’s great for her that she’s so busy these days, but it does also mean that it would be hard for her to return.

Sara Lance – Yes, we know that she’s on another Arrow-verse show in Legends of Tomorrow that keeps her super-busy, but it would be nice for Quentin to have more scenes with his daughter! In turn, we also want to see more of Sara versus Black Siren given that there are so many interesting things that could be played around with there.

Honorable mention – Harley Quinn. She’s probably had about five seconds of airtime on the series so far and it felt wrong to omit her; nonetheless, DC seemingly putting the kibosh on this is pretty indicative of how they treat most of their TV properties and popular characters.
