The Flash season 4: Four Arrow-verse characters who should appear

Flash season 4

With The Flash season 4 not returning to The CW until January, this is certainly a time to speculate. To be specific, we’re taking a larger look at the following question: Who from the Arrow-verse should turn up in the second half of the season?

We’ve come up below with a list of a handful of interesting personalities who could lend their face to the series and be interesting alongside Barry Allen and the rest of the STAR Labs crew. Not all of them have a direct connection to the show, but it wouldn’t be all that hard to find a use for them.

Jay Garrick – This one is a given, but the good news is that we know that he will return again at some point. The challenge with Jay is probably just that he’s the idyllic representation of everything that you would want a superhero to be. As a result of that, it’s hard to form any sort of organic conflict around him.

Ragman – We’re never going to understand the Arrow-verse handling of Ragman. Rory was one of the best characters who joined the team in season 5, and to go along with that had a unique backstory and was different from your standard hero. Yet, the show wrote him out halfway through that season when his rags stopped working and we haven’t seen him since. Maybe his powers are better suited for The Flash than Arrow, though we’d also be more than happy to see him over on Legends of Tomorrow. (We just wonder if he’d get confused over there with Mick Rory.)

Lisa Snart – Where in the world is the Golden Glider? Basically, Peyton List is just super-busy. She had Frequency going on last year and she’s now playing the new Ivy on Gotham. As much as we liked her on The Flash it’s not super-clear when she would turn up again or how. That’s a shame, given that her relationship with Cisco was fun and it’d be nice for the show to still have some sort of tie to the Snart family with Captain Cold dead in the present timeline.

Human Target – He’s another character who has abilities that play well on The Flash, even if we’ve never seen Christopher Chance over on this show. His last appearance on Arrow is buried in the past now and what makes him interesting is that he wouldn’t necessary be on Barry Allen’s side. This is all about who hires him.
