Criminal Minds season 13 episode 7 carries with it the title of “Dust and Bones,” and beyond that … well, CBS is being coy as per usual.
CarterMatt has a fairly short synopsis for you below to help get you up to speed on what’s coming up:
“Dust and Bones” – The BAU searches for an unsub in Austin, Texas who is targeting prominent members of the community, on CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, Nov. 15 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Is this revealing? Well, we suppose that it is in some ways it is when you think about the case. The BAU are in Austin trying to figure out a way to understand this person’s motive for what they are doing. Did someone who is prominent in this community do something to them, or are they just feeling powerful going after people in power? It’s also possible that this person just so happens to have some sort of serious problem dealing with people who are in this sort of position.
Now, the thing we wonder is this: Will there be some more personal stuff that unfolds over the course of the episode? If so, why not reveal some of this in advance? This is one of the things that, (in general) we don’t quite understand about Criminal Minds and the promotional strategy of the show — since so many episodes have blended together over the years you really watch at this point more so for the characters. We’d promote the show with that in mind in order to get the diehard viewers watching. How many people out there are really going to say “oh, I’m going to watch this episode because this UnSub is more interesting than others?”
Still, we have pretty high hopes for this episode just because it’s Criminal Minds and it’s season 13 — if you’re watching the show at this point you’ve got a good sense of what to expect and with that the writers and producers know how to deliver.
