Shark Tank preview: Ice Shaker, BenjiLock, Delighted by Dessert Hummus, Solemender, and Alex Rodriguez

BenjiLock

Sunday night’s Shark Tank features a wide array of different products, with Ice Shaker, BenjiLock, Delighted by Dessert Hummus, and Solemender trying to do their best to get an investor. There will be one thing that is different when it comes to the Sharks: Alex Rodriguez, former MLB player turned business tycoon, is going to be in the Tank alongside Mark Cuban, Lori Greiner, Barbara Corcoran, and Kevin O’Leary. You’ll learn more about A-Rod’s story as a businessman through this episode while also figuring out some more information about the products. After all, they are still going to be the main focus of the hour!

Speaking of which, why not get into spotlighting some of what these companies/ideas bring to the table right now?

Ice Shaker – We begin with this stainless steel shaker bottle that keeps your drinks cool for an extended period of time and can be used for more than just protein shakes. It is entering a competitive market, but the product will likely make a big splash in the Tank tonight due to its creator, Chris Gronkowski, being the brother of New England Patriots star Rob Gronkowski. Let’s just say that Gronk will find a way to get involved in this pitch.

Delighted by Dessert Hummus – Can we start by saying that this self-explanatory company has one of the best websites we’ve seen in covering Shark Tank for years at CarterMatt? It’s bright, colorful, and exactly what you want to see when you navigate a website while watching the show. The products themselves look very much tasty, and we say that as someone who’s not much of a hummus fan. Their problem is that it doesn’t look like the dessert hummus is going to be readily available for many people watching the show tonight.

Solemender – This is a product invented by a young man with one main goal: Helping to ease pain caused by plantar fasciitis and other food injuries. It’s an innovative idea — it’s probably not going to be the flashiest one in the world in the Tank but remember that many of these sort of products in the medical industry can still make a ton of money if brought to the right people.

BenjiLock – Like with Solemender it does feel like BenjiLock has a long way to go before it eventually becomes a household name. Nonetheless, we like that the product is easy to describe: It’s a padlock with fingerprint technology built in. It probably needs a new name since nobody knows who Benji is who is going to be buying this lock, but the idea at least is a solid start towards large-scale success.

Do any of these Shark Tank products for tonight intrigue you?
