NCIS: Los Angeles season 9 spoilers: When is Arkady returning?

Arkady returning

We’ve already seen Anna Kolcheck stop by NCIS: Los Angeles season 9, so when is Arkady returning to add to the drama? Luckily, the answer is sooner rather than later if you appreciate this character.

CBS confirmed recently that you will be seeing Arkady on the upcoming October 29 episode entitled “Mountebank.” For the record, the title can be defined as a person who deliberately does what they can in order to swindle other people out of money. It only feels appropriate, all things considered, that “bank” is a part of that word. This case is going to be one that revolves around another Sam undercover mission, and it appears as though Nia Long’s Shay Mosley will be involved in some capacity. Take a look at the recently-released synopsis below:

“Mountebank” – Sam goes undercover as a day trader after a prominent investment banker with ties to a Russian oligarch is murdered. Also, one of Callen’s aliases is the victim of credit card theft, and Mosley is concerned it signals something bigger, on NCIS: LOS ANGELES, Sunday, Oct. 29 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

In addition to Arkady appearing in this episode, Andrea Bordeaux is also going to continue her arc as Harley Hidoko, the other new face at the NCIS: Los Angeles field office. We’d love to say by this time that we’re going to be getting closer to a return of Hetty to the office, as well, but there is no guarantee of that. We know at present that she’s still in the midst of a heck of a complicated story where her own history in Vietnam is coming back to bite her in some surprising ways. We’re excited to see all of that play out, even if at the same time we profess to having some serious nerves on the subject.

Above all else, this episode when you think about where it is in the season has almost everything you could possibly want. After all, you’re going to be seeing Arkady returning for an episode that involves a Sam undercover mission and some interesting character stuff for Callen. This show is never going to give you in the middle of October a storyline that completely breaks open the mold of what the show is or contains some other sort of enormous shocker. This is where you get some strong procedural stories that help you to get to know some of these characters better, but not necessarily too much more than that.
