Major Crimes season 6: What we’d like to see in new trailer

Major Crimes season 6 ratings

While TNT has released a trailer regarding the new season of Major Crimes it was short and to the point. Fans got a glimpse at how the mood this season will be serious. As we have mentioned before, the upcoming season 6 will feature episode arcs or, in other words, storylines that will span over a multiple episodes. With this change, it allows the writers to have things more serious with each case having higher stakes. The first trailer definitely gave us this message, but we’d also like a glimpse at what’s in store for the characters.

So here’s what we here at CarterMatt would like to see in the next trailer.

Chief Mason’s change – At the end of Season 5 newly-made Chief Mason wanted to make the Major Crimes unit into something better, but what exactly did he have in mind? Thats’s the big question. We aren’t asking for the trailer to answer this question, but it would be nice to see that we will get an answer during the Season 6 premiere.

All we can say for sure is that the change will have to be significant given that it was the reason Chief Mason decided to promote Sharon Raydor from captain to commander. Has Chief Mason changed the type of cases the unit takes on? Or has he changed the way the squad operates? These are both potential possibilities because both allow the series to move forward and add new something to the long-running series.

What’s Rusty up to? – The last time fans saw Rusty he was in a difficult situation with Gus and working for DDA Andrea Hobbs. He has the goal of going to law school and academically and professionally seems to be on the right track, so what we’d love to catch a glimpse in the next trailer about Rusty’s story this season.

We assume that the question of whether Rusty and Gus are still together will be answered because Season 5 ended with fans confused at what they decided. As we have mentioned before, Gus seemed into having a long distance relationship while Rusty seemed to think it was over, so it will be great to see how this plays out.

As far as Rusty’s career goes we hope to see him interacting more with the Major Crimes squad as he works alongside Hobbs.

Personal lives – We’ve seen the a little of the case that will occupy the squad during the premiere, so for the next trailer we’d like to see a little of what is to come for our characters in their personal lives. Many of the team’s lives have had their moments in the spotlight and many of them still have a lot to share with us.

Obviously fans want to see even the smallest glance at the fan favorite couple of Sharon and Andy because they are preparing to get married this season. Speaking of the wedding, Tony Denison recently told fans on Twitter that the wedding will be during the November 28th episode, so mark your calendars for that!

We’d also like to see Buzz as he continues to help the family of the man who killed his father and we’d like to catch a glance at how Detective Sanchez and Mark are doing. The last time we saw them they seemed to be a happy family and we hope going into the new season that they remain one.

There’s a lot to be learned from a trailer and we cannot wait for the next one to be released.
