NCIS marathon, featuring many top Michael Weatherly – Cote de Pablo moments, airing on USA
As pointed out to us by TVLine earlier this morning, Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time there’s going to be a 13-hour marathon on USA featuring many of the best Tony – Ziva episodes, whether it be “Kill Ari” Parts 1 and 2 (the first episodes featuring the Ziva character), “Revenge,” “Chasing Ghosts,” “Truth or Consequences,” “Semper Fidelis,” “Boxed In,” or “Under Covers.” There’s a couple of good ones that they’re missing (“Berlin”), but this should be a trip down memory lane for many of you who loved the character and what was one of the best eras for the show.
Thankfully, there’s also no replay happening of the start of season 11, which is when Ziva departed the series. She hasn’t been seen on-camera since, and per what we were told during the season 13 finale, she is apparently dead and Tony is off now caring for their daughter in Europe. (We still refuse to believe that Ziva would have died in some anticlimactic way, though that may be something we never quite know for sure.)
At this point, we’ve accepted the fact that it is pretty unlikely we are ever going to see Tony and Ziva together again on NCIS in the future. However, we do think that the odds are very much there that we get a chance to see the two of them working together again elsewhere — maybe on Bull. That’s something that we’ve proposed in the past, especially since there’s something fun that would come out of her playing a rival to him as opposed to a partner. If you give the two a chance to do something completely different, there is a great deal of fun that could come along with that.
If you love NCIS and the Tony – Ziva relationship, this is something worth looking at today! After all, it’s not like there is that much other stuff out there happening on television over the next 24 hours unless you are some sort of crazy boxing super-fan, desperate to shell out a ton of money in order to see Mayweather and McGregor. For us, there are about a million things we’d rather do rather than see a boxer completely throttle someone who is not a boxer.

I’m NOT a Tiva fan but I’m loving this USA Marathon as some of these also have my favorite Gibbs moments in them as well. Today’s first episodes – Kill Ari I & I – back when I first saw them, was when I rediscovered how much I like Mark Harmon. I was a fan years ago but didn’t watch much TV in recent years but when I was sidelined with surgery I discovered Mark again through NCIS and really got hooked when I first saw Gibbs chasing Ari. At this point, of course, I’ve seen all episodes multiple times.
