Power season 4 finale spoilers: Can Ghost recover from latest death?
The first thing that we really should note here is that there are some MAJOR spoilers ahead if you haven’t caught tonight’s episode yet. We don’t to be the ones who ruined what happened for you, so read on with caution.
Still with us? Well then, get ready to see Ghost and Tommy united more than they’ve been all season long, albeit for one of the most terrible reasons imaginable: Dealing with a murder. Raina St. Patrick was shot by Ray Ray in the closing minutes of tonight’s episode, a move that was mostly brought about by her brother Tariq’s inability to take responsibility for his own actions. He tried to flee New York City, not realizing that there were other ways he could be hurt. Losing his innocent sister, a good student who was trying to just have a good life for herself, is one of the biggest ones. If you think of Power as a great Shakespearean tragedy, this may be one of the most tragic moments in the entire series.

Power season 4 finale synopsis – “When tragedy befalls the St. Patrick family, Ghost and Tommy seek retribution. Meanwhile, Tasha tries to keep things together at home; and Angela uses her own resources to figure out what Ghost is hiding.”
The biggest thing that Ghost is going to have to do is realize that in one way or another, he created this. His actions in the past enabled Kanan to be around his family, which in turn enabled Tariq to begin his own dark criminal turn. When Tariq was ready to run away, it was far too late and he wasn’t going to be able to do anything for himself anymore.
As far as Angela’s new mission, she does have a lot of power now as the head of Criminal and could use that to uncover some of Jamie’s secrets. Maybe she finds something, or maybe she doesn’t. Either way, she probably does need to move forward: She’s so connected to him because of her own past. How is she going to be able to really prove anything more? We’re also not sure that things are over for the two of them romantically; the potential is still there, and we definitely saw a bit of the chemistry in the closing moments tonight.
