The Fosters season 5 episode 6 preview: Callie’s ethical dilemma

Want to know what’s coming on The Fosters season 5 episode 6? Well, a good bit of that is going to start with Callie making a choice. We saw her tonight getting pushed to join a cause against a speaker arriving to campus. This seems to be a storyline inspired very much by what we’ve seen at Berkeley and other places against a certain controversial speaker who shall not be named here — similar to Voldemort in that sense.

Anyhow, there’s a big issue with Callie wanting to get too wrapped up in a protest. She’s been through her fair share of legal trouble already, and knows very well just how easily these things can get out of hand. If she makes one wrong move, she has to be prepared for the possibility of another arrest. With her history, any more black marks on her resume are going to be very much unforgiving and the police won’t take them lightly.

Callie’s decision is no doubt the most interesting part of this story to us, largely because the stakes here are so high and she has this intrinsic need in order to help other people. It’s the same need that Brandon has (that’s probably why they have such a history together), even if the two do manifest it in very different ways.

As for everything else mentioned in this synopsis, Stef making headway is great for her case, but there are also certainly some questions when it comes to balancing work and her home life. One wrong step could end up leading to her damaging her marriage after some of the conflict tonight.

As for Jude and Taylor … we’ll see what happens there. Personally, we’ve never understood why people like to watch people play video games on YouTube or Twitch — and we say that as someone who’s a pretty hardcore gamer.
