Big Brother 19 live feed spoilers: Does Josh have a plan? (day 47, afternoon)
As of last night, it looked more like Jessica was going to be leaving the game; yet, it now feels like Josh is happy to push that Elena end up leaving the game again. Do we understand this? Absolutely not, since he’s going from making a move that unites the house to one that doesn’t. Granted, maybe he’s thinking in terms of actually trying to win the game rather than being seen as Paul’s puppet … but hasn’t the ship already sailed on Josh winning the game? The guy’s mostly gotten himself in a good place in the house on the strength of him being the dude who would never win at the end.
The idea that Josh and his #1 ally Christmas are pushing at the moment is this: Getting a coalition of people together to tie up the vote against Jessica, and then having Josh break the tie. Christmas and Cody are two votes to evict Elena, and Christmas feels like she will be able to get Kevin to come over to her side. She needs to get one more vote.
Let’s piece this together further now: Mark is a sure-fire vote to evict Jessica provided that he comes off the block (which he should), and Paul is right there with him, as well. Given Alex’s distaste for Jessica, as well, that feels like a lock. Raven seems to be willing to be the replacement nominee, and we feel like Matt’s also gunning for Jessica.
Basically, our vantage point suggests that this entire week could come down to Whistlenut. Would Jason actually vote out Elena over Jessica, provided that Christmas gets Kevin on board? He seems to be the swing vote at the moment, and he does realize that Paul is controlling the game and may want to make a move against him at some point. He also doesn’t have the worst relationship in the world with Jessica and Cody. Here is where we think Josh’s plan hits a major hurdle: Jason and Alex are super-tight, and we just can’t imagine a scenario where Alex wants to keep Jessica in the game. Josh’s plan may be ambitious, but with Mark, Paul, Alex, Matt, and Jason one side, we don’t know how you get any of them to flip and actually get Elena gone from the game this week.
The other risk for Josh is that if you push for this too hard and Elena stays, it increases the likelihood of her and Mark wanting to target you moving forward … though to be fair, Mark clearly wanted Josh gone in the first place. There’s enough history there.
