Zoo season 3 episode 6 spoilers: Abigail’s origin story; more Robert Oz

When Zoo season 3 episode 6 airs on CBS next week, you should be ready for a story of answers — and also flashbacks. This will be your opportunity to actually learn more about how Abigail Westbrook became the person that she is in the present — an adversary to the team and the Pied Piper of many hybrids.

Will this story make us a little more sympathetic towards her? We’re not altogether sure that we can say that, but all villains are better when they are more complex and you feel complicated emotions towards them. It’s better that way than just straight-up hating them, and we do like that this episode will be bringing back Ken Olin as Robert Oz to further tell this story. There aren’t exactly all that many opportunities to have him on the show now given what happened with the characters last season.

Beyond what we’re going to be seeing with Abigail and her past in this episode, you can also anticipate a pretty dramatic rescue mission that puts Mitch at the center of it. Clementine was captured one week ago as a result of Dariela’s decision, and she is still in enormous danger.

Zoo season 3 episode 6 synopsis – “Mitch seeks to rescue Clementine from her captors, and a glimpse into Jackson’s sister Abigail’s (Athena Karkanis) past reveals the origins of the hybrids.”

The good news for Mitch is that she does know roughly where Clementine is (thank Jamie for that) and has the ability to rescue her as a result. The bad news? He’s still breaking into a well-guarded facility, one where she is seemingly auctioned off to the highest bidder because of her pregnancy. This is a difficult, impossible position for him, and it’s easily one that could get Mitch killed. They’re obviously not going to do anything with Clementine given that she is the most important person in the known world at the moment, but they could care less about anyone else surviving. There are also the mysterious Gentlemen floating around with this storyline — we don’t know a lot about them yet, but they could be dangerous.

As for what else we’re anticipating in this episode, let’s just say that we’re expecting to have some opportunities to learn about the state of Abe and Dariela’s relationship. He went radio silent on her after learning what she was willing to do for the sake of Isaac, and she’s got a long way to go before the two of them get on better standing again.

Meanwhile, the jury is still very much out on what’s next for Jackson and Tessa, who found themselves in grave danger at the end of the episode with hybrids all around them.
