The Bachelorette spoilers: The Lee Garrett – Kenny King feud gets intense

There are few people on The Bachelorette this season that we feel more sorry for than Kenny King, mostly because of how he’s being thrown into what is in some ways an impossible situation for him. Does he have a bit of a temper? Sure, but he’s also being targeted and manipulated by a guy in Lee Garrett who is intentionally needling him for the sake of riling him up.

At the moment, the sentiment in the house seems to be fairly clear;: Nobody is a huge fan of Lee. This is one of those times we actually do wish more people would step in and tell Rachel that Kenny’s feelings are justified.

In the new promo below (via E! News) for the two-night event starting on ABC Monday night, you can see things come to a head between these characters. Apparently the words “race card” are thrown in here, which is going to make this all the more uncomfortable when you consider Lee’s social-media history at this point. Kenny’s going to accuse Lee of lying, which he’s done plenty of, and it just comes down to whether or not Rachel ends up believing him.

As we’ve said before, we can certainly see situations coming where Rachel decides to send the two of them home because she doesn’t want to deal with the drama of it anymore. It’d stink for Kenny if that happens, but if she didn’t feel he was right for her in the end anyway, maybe it saves him heartache of going home now versus some point further down the road when he has deeper feelings for her. As of late, the relationship that he’s had with her hasn’t been all that romantic, mostly in part because he’s been forced to deal with the likes of Lee instead … which includes defending himself in the process. That’s not an easy thing to do when you feel like your back is constantly against the wall.
