Animal Kingdom season 2 episode 5 spoilers: A heist to end all heists

Animal Kingdom season 2 episode 5 synopsis – “As the boys put the megachurch heist in motion, Craig (Ben Robson) has second thoughts. Javi (Alex Meraz) surprises Smurf (Ellen Barkin) with a visit.”
Sure, things may be a little bit more complicated here than they seem on paper, but the reality here is the reality that you’re talking about a “megachurch heist.” That’s not the sort of thing that you can really look at without feeling as though the responsible parties are pretty terrible people. It’s all intentional, and no matter what happens as a result of this, there’ll be hell to pay. (It’s only fair that Craig would have second thoughts, all things considered.)
As for the promo below, we like to look at it this way: Somehow, the show may be giving you a trailer’s worth of shocking stuff over the course of just thirty minutes. It’s crazy, but it’s also at the same time crazy entertaining and a thrill to watch.
Ratings update – We’re going to continue to keep track of the show’s performance in these articles, and we’ll give the show some credit for being reasonably steady at the moment. This past episode ended up generating a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic, up slightly from the week before but still down from the season premiere. The numbers as a whole are still down versus season 1, but that’s expected when you look at television across the board.
So long as the ratings continue to hover where they are, there’s a very good chance you’ll be getting more Animal Kingdom in the future.
