Grey’s Anatomy season 14 spoilers: Kim Raver returning as Teddy
Now, we’re sharing something regarding that ABC show. As first reported by Deadline, Raver is going to be appearing on an upcoming arc for the 14th season. She was actually last mentioned in the season 13 finale in conjunction with the story revolving around Owen and his sister Megan somehow still being alive. This actually marks her first appearance within Grey’s Anatomy since the end of season 8. There was always conversation that she could return someday, but it was about in part finding the right time for her to turn up. After all, one of the big things to remember here is that Raver has been an incredibly busy woman in between doing 24, Revolution, and some other shows.
Given filming schedules, presumably she could be done with her work on Ray Donovan at the time she heads back over to Grey’s Anatomy, so there shouldn’t be too much of a conflict. Even if there is, both shows do film in Los Angeles so there is a reasonable amount of comfort there for her to be able to hop over from one show to the other.
When Grey’s Anatomy left off, Owen was apparently getting close to seeing his sister again, and given Teddy’s own history with Megan, she was the biggest piece of evidence that his sister was apparently still alive. The biggest mystery that is here at the moment is the status of Bridget Regan, who plays the character on the show. She is a major part over on TNT’s The Last Ship, so it remains to be seen whether or not she will be able to come over and join this show for any sort of significant role — at least while production is going on there. The series, which stars former Grey’s Anatomy actor Eric Dane, is currently filming its fifth season slated to air in 2018.
