Prepare for Animal Kingdom season 2 with new catch-up video

Animal Kingdom

Are you ready for Animal Kingdom season 2 to arrive onto TNT this coming week? If you’re new to the show, then you may find what lies ahead to be especially worthwhile.

This new clip over at the link here serves as a worthy introduction to the entire series in the event that you haven’t had a chance to see much of the story to date. This introduces you to J, and then of course the central character of the entire series in many ways in Smurf. She’s the one running the operation, though she does have plenty of help in the form of Baz, Pope, and many others. It also makes it clear as to how J came to be used as a double agent in an effort to try and take his family down.

The fact that there is a second season more or less explains how all of that worked out in the end.

What makes Animal Kingdom a little more interesting than many other shows is that it is almost an heir apparent in some ways to USA’s Graceland, a show that also featured some high-stakes undercover elements and plenty of drama. The one major difference that is here is that this show does have such a strong family component to it, and there is some element of love there … even though it’s also in the midst of a lot of chaos.

Not enough for you?

Then check out the sneak peek below for the premiere episode, given that this gives you a little more of a sense as to some of the heist components that are coming up, as many of the characters work on executing a job while Smurf gets ready for her close-up. These sequences have a little bit of a Breaking Bad meets Burn Notice vibe to them in that there’s not a lot of dialogue, but the visual presentation is such that it doesn’t really need it.

Rest assured, this premiere is going to show you that know that the characters are well-known and familiar to the audience, there isn’t much of a reason to waste time on them. Instead, you can dive more into the story, and getting to see the characters in their element.

For some more news on Animal Kingdom and the premiere episode that is coming up, our suggestion is fairly clear: Head over to this link! There will be some more news coming later in the week. (Photo: TNT.)
