The Flash season 3: See the new Killer Frost costume!
If you look below via TVLine, there are two different viewpoints of the outfit, which reminds you somewhat of the comic-book version of the character while being practical for the show. It has to be functional so that you can have Danielle Panabaker running around Central City without too many struggles, and it also has to be able to withstand some of the wintry scenes in which she’s going to film. After all, it’s not like Panabaker adopts all of the powers of her alter ego the moment that she puts on the wig and the contact lenses.
In general, The Flash in general has probably done a better job than almost any superhero show out there in terms of giving everyone great costumes. The upgraded Flash suit that we saw with Future Barry in “The Once and Future Flash” was pretty incredible, just as we’ve been a big fan of the Vibe costume from the moment that we saw it. Some of the villains look great — we’re not a huge fan of the mask portion of the Kid Flash outfit, but when that’s the worst critique that you have, you know that you’re doing rather great.
Panabaker also offered up to the aforementioned website a little bit more of her own personal excitement about getting to take on what is such an iconic role finally — while she’s done this part on Earth-2 before, this is a little different given that this is the character we’ve become so invested in over time:
“Obviously, I was hired to play the very sweet scientist, but I’ve been super-excited about playing Killer Frost ever since I signed onto the show. It’s something that I really wanted,” Panabaker effuses. “It’s a great way for people to see that this cast is capable of pulling off multiple characters.”
You will get a chance to see the Killer Frost costume during “I Know Who You Are” airing next week, which should be great in the midst of learning that Savitar is Future Barry / Julian Alpert / Ronnie Raymond / some other important character within this world.
