Dancing with the Stars: Erika Jayne, Mr. T, Bonner Bolton face elimination
First and foremost, we’re casting a long gaze at Erika Jayne, since we do feel as though she is probably the person who is going to be sent home when the dust settles tonight. What she’s got going for her is that she’s probably a better dancer than a couple other performers; however, most Real Housewives tend to only last a few weeks, and she is not getting the story arc of someone in the competition for a long time. If we had to issue a prediction, we’d argue that she is going to get her best scores of the season tonight, but it won’t matter since the viewer votes are what will eventually send her out the door instead.
When you look at other possibilities, we do think that Bonner Bolton is an interesting name given that the romance rumors with Sharna Burgess are dying down, and his recent routines haven’t done a whole lot to inspire many votes. He probably has another voters from the heartland to keep him safe for this week, but without a turnaround, we could easily see him going next.
Finally, Mr. T is the last candidate you’ve gotta look at. He’s the worst dancer of the three, but his story is so touching and he’s such a big character that we just don’t see people wanting to get rid of him when there are other obvious options. He’s not going to make it to the finals, but we could see him lasting another couple of weeks. His issue will be when some of the other mid-tier Stars are gone and he’s left with people who are obviously all much better dancers than he is.
Tonight, we’ll be back with both a review of the performances, but then also the results for the whole evening.
