Blue Bloods season 7 episode 19 sneak peek: Frank, Erin talk things out

Blue Bloods season 7

Leading up to Friday night’s new episode, the Blue Bloods season 7 episode 19 sneak peek below is going to offer up a couple of welcome things. For one, it marks a great opportunity to be able to see more of Frank Reagan in the role of adviser. Also, it sets up the return of Erin’s ex Jack in a big way.

Specifically, Jack is going to be back on the show representing a new client, one that puts her in opposition to her ex. From a television standpoint, we’re thrilled to have Peter Hermann on the show again — any chance to bring him back and give us more of Erin’s past is something we’re going to celebrate. However, the flip side of that is that we like Erin Reagan the character and don’t want to see her have to go through some tough times. What she’s going through here with Jack can absolutely qualify as tough times and then some.

Specifically, Frank questions her on whether or not it was the right move to sign up for this case knowing full well that Jack was going to be a part of it. This move puts her in a little more of a precarious position, since she’s pushing hard to reject a plea deal even if it means it’s possible that Jack’s client walks away with nothing. If Jack wasn’t there, would she be so willing to dive into this case? Frank wonders it, and Erin says that it’s hard to know for sure one way or another at this point. What really matters is that she’s on the case now, and the two parties are just going to have to do their part to move forward from here.

Where this story goes from here remains to be seen, but this is far from the only issue that we’re going to be seeing Frank deal with over the course of this story. Specifically, we imagine that one of the other main issues is going to be figuring out if Frank can handle the accusations of a mother who feels like the NYPD has been negligent in investigating the murder of her child.
