The Big Bang Theory season 10 episode 20 spoilers: Sheldon’s limits

The Big Bang Theory season 10 episode 20

Following tonight’s episode, The Big Bang Theory season 10 episode 20 actually seems to be doing something a little new / interesting for the show — picking up where the previous episode left off for Sheldon.

Tonight, you will get a chance to see Jim Parsons’ character do his best to show more of an interest in Amy’s work. That’s something that is a little bit easier to do when you consider that she is doing something that he does personally find rather fascinating, but it’s still a nice change for his character given that one of his calling cards more often than not is selfishness and thinking more for himself than he is anyone else.

Beyond that, be prepared to also see in this episode a story that revolves for the most part around Sheldon doing what he can in order to continue working with Leonard and Howard. He’s going to exhaust himself, and the idea of that is a fairly dangerous concept given that any time Sheldon really changes up his routine, there are typically pretty dramatic consequences. We’ll just have to wait and see if that ends up being the case here, as well.

The Big Bang Theory season 10 episode 20 synopsis – “Sheldon pushes himself to the limit when he collaborates on projects with Leonard and Wolowitz as well as Amy on the same day. Also, Bernadette is nearing the end of her maternity leave and must return to work, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Thursday, April 6 (8:00-8:31 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Joel Murray guest stars as Doug.”

We’re not sure how much the show will focus on it, but we wonder if the show will focus on Bernadette’s return in any sort of emotional way. This is a big milestone moment in her life, one where she gets an opportunity to think about this period of being at home with her child. She obviously still wants a career, but this is checking off one particular time of her baby’s life that she will never forget.

As for who Doug is, your guess is as good as ours. Joel Murray is a familiar face for executive producer Chuck Lorre, having previously done episodes of Two and a Half Men.
