Hawaii Five-0 season 7 spoilers: McGarrett and the team get captured!

McGarrett

For the second straight week, we come bearing bad news for all Hawaii Five-0 fans out there: There is no new episode of the series airing on CBS. The NCAA Tournament is still going strong, and as a result of that, you’re going to be waiting until March 31 to see the series back on the air.

While you wait for the show’s return, consider your good news to be confirmation that there will in fact be a Hawaii Five-0 season 8. It’s already been confirmed, so there is a lot to look forward to come the fall!

We’ve already shared some details surrounding the March 31 return of the series, so for this article, we’re looking ahead instead to the upcoming April 7 edition entitled “Ua malo’o ka wai,” otherwise known as “The Water is Dried Up.” This will be an episode that puts many of the main characters in a precarious position, specifically in terms of what they will be running into on the island of Lanai. McGarrett and the Five-0 team will track a “dangerous nemesis,” per CBS, to the island, only to find themselves captured after that. They’ll be in grave danger — but, with the recent renewal in mind, we have to hope that they’ll find a way to emerge from there in one piece.

Elsewhere in the episode, not every character is going to remain in Hawaii in the episode. You’re going to see Grover take his son all the way out to Chicago while he testifies against a dirty cop with some ties to his past. We imagine that this may be one of those educational trips to teach his son about a different part of the world — it’s a chance to give Chi McBride some more love in terms of material, and anytime that happens is a time that we’re going to celebrate.

In terms of where this episode lies in the episode order, it’s the 21st out of 25 on the season. Once it’s over, you still have another four installments to look forward to! Hawaii Five-0 continues to do a good job spoiling us with the sheer number of episodes that they produce.

What do you think about this Hawaii Five-0 episode? Are you excited to see the spotlight put a little more on the Grover character and his family? Be sure to share some of your thoughts on the subject in the comments! (Photo: CBS.)
