Homeland season 6, episode 8 preview: Truth vs. ‘Alt. Truth’

Homeland season 6, episode 8 -

Homeland must know what they are doing when it comes to their episode title for next week in “Alt. Truth.” Basically at this point in the run, you put the word “alt” in front of anything and it causes people to freak out. This is a show that has a tendency for a wide array of interesting twists and turns, and just in naming an episode this, Alex Gansa and the writers probably were ready for a reaction.

Now as for everything that is actually going to come in the episode, you can prepare to see some chaos pertaining to Keane, a woman who hasn’t been altogether willing this season to listen to reason. Will she listen to evidence? This is clearly something that Carrie and Saul are banking on, given that otherwise, they could be in some serious trouble — and the same goes for most of the rest of the country.

Synopsis – “Carrie and Saul present evidence to Keane; Quinn tracks a mark.”

As per usual, this is the same sort of super-vague Showtime synopsis that you’ve come to expect over the years. We’ll get a tad more specific when the promo comes out.

Promo – Well, this Homeland season 6, episode 8 tease gives you a little bit more of a sense as to what is coming up … especially when it comes to some of the drama that is coming up at the moment for Carrie in terms of allegiances. She’s clearly got Quinn on edge, and she’s getting more and more involvement with the government once more. Part of what makes this show so much fun for the most part is that you’re getting a chance to see so many different wrinkles, twists, and turns. You also knew going into the season that you were going to be getting a chance to see Carrie working with the CIA once more in some capacity. The biggest mystery was figuring out the how, and that is something that we’ve gotten an opportunity to see.
