The Walking Dead season 7, episode 12 photo: Is this the Tara – Oceanside dilemma?

How will the Tara – Oceanside dilemma start to take course on The Walking Dead season 7, episode 12? This is something that could come into play judging from one of the latest photos above from the show.

What this photo serves as a reminder of more than anything else is the valuable information that Tara has. Unfortunately, there is also no way of knowing whether or not she will be so inclined to share said information with Rick Grimes.

If we were to map this out, the incentive for Tara would be pretty darn clear: In telling Rick, she offers up her people their best possible odds of taking on Negan. Oceanside, after all, has guns. With these said guns, Rick’s crew can hand some over to Jadis and the other odd people of Garbageland in exchange for their help. This adds significantly to the army, which may prove useful in actually taking Negan and company on.

Yet, Tara is bound to something that doesn’t necessarily hold a lot of value to other people within the zombie apocalypse world: Her word. She doesn’t want to go back on it, even though the end of her time there was not exactly filled of the best memories ever. Her reluctance may also have something to do with fear. If Oceanside does join the team, there’s still very little stopping them from coming and killing her out of revenge.

One way or another, the Oceanside question will be raised once more. The big debate is whether or not it’s important this episode, or one a little further down the road. Given that there are only four more stories to tell after this upcoming one airs, it’s not as though AMC has some huge abundance of time to get this story out there in order for it to be told.
