Supergirl season 2, episode 15 preview: Alex, Kara go against the grain

What will Alex and Kara be willing to do in order to stop Cadmus, and figure out things in regards to Jeremiah Danvers? Consider these two be two separate focuses of Supergirl season 2, episode 15, which carries with it the title of “Exodus.” This is a story that could deliver another wallop or two when it comes to the Cadmus arc, while at the same time giving you something different and potentially fun via Supergirl and Snapper Carr.

We told you recently that an upcoming story in this episode will give you a chance to see Kara’s boss do his part to interview the hero of National City, though we do hope that this is somewhat different than the interview that we saw during the first season with Cat Grant. Given that this is a different character, it’s fair to anticipate that there will be at the very least a different tone to the conversation.

Synopsis – “As Alex (Chyler Leigh) searches for Jeremiah (guest star Dean Cain) and Kara (Melissa Benoist) investigates a series of alien kidnappings, the sisters realize they must break the rules to foil a new Cadmus plot. In an effort to get Snapper Carr (guest star Ian Gomez) to run a story that would help her stop Cadmus, Kara agrees to set up an interview between Snapper and Supergirl.”

Will this mark the end of the Cadmus arc? It may be a tad early to speculate on that, but we do wonder if the writers are going to start getting to the aliens tracking Mon-El. This is clearly going to be a big push for the story late this season; it may also be a reason why Teri Hatcher was recently cast, since we know that she is going to be playing a potential villain. (It’s rather sad that she and Dean Cain are on opposite sides of the spectrum for this show.)

This makes it clear precisely what Cadmus’ plan is shaping up to be to destroy aliens. We know now that Jeremiah is a traitor, and that makes things all the trickier.
