Supergirl season 2, episode 14 bringing Kara / Mon-El / Alex battle over Jeremiah
There will be many a sweet moment at the heart of Monday night’s Supergirl season 2, episode 14, but there will also be an Alex – Kara – Mon-El fight for the ages over the new arrival into their lives: Jeremiah Danvers. It’s going to be emotional, but we imagine that you expected as much when you consider the stakes here. This is a little bit different than a stranger entering their world. This is someone in Jeremiah who was a father to the two women for most of their lives.
As the preview video below makes it clear, upon his arrival both Kara and her sister are going to greet him with open arms, and understandably so. This is someone from their lives that they’ve sorely missed over the course of time. They want to believe that he is the same man that they’ve missed.
However, it is Mon-El that allows Kara to open up to the possibility that Jeremiah is in this case not all that he seems. He reminds her that this is someone who’s been locked away by Project Cadmus for years, and they may have a way of controlling him. His behavior seems off, and eventually he convinces Kara to see his side. Unfortunately, Alex is not so keen to following along, and the Mon-El suddenly has more leverage with Kara on his side.
Expect some major family tension this week, and in addition to that, a little bit of a better understanding regarding the state of things regarding Cadmus in this story. Given what happened in “Luthors,” it’s clear that they are still a threat. Yet, at the same time there are many other fish to fry out there.
If you missed it, there are some happier moments within the episode — however short-lived they may be. After all, we’ve reported already that there will be a fun scene for Alex and Maggie in the episode, one in which the two get to spend a bit of time with Jeremiah before the rumors start flying all over the place.
