‘Supergirl’ season 2, episode 11 preview: Why is Hank following M’gann?
Monday night’s new episode of “Supergirl” is right about here, and judging from the latest sneak peek for the hour that we’ve got for you below, there appears to be a major story ahead that is really all about Hank a.k.a. J’onn J’onzz. As a matter of fact, it appears that the majority of the episode is going to be about the Martian race in one way or another.
The main focus of “The Martian Chronicles” is going to be the arrival of a White Martian to Earth in hopes of finding M’gann — after all, she is labeled a traitor to her own people back on Mars, and she could be ordered to come back there in order to stand trial for many of her transgressions … and by “transgressions,” we mean “her not being terrible like many of her other people who slaughtered Green Martians like nobody’s business.”
In this sneak peek, M’gann starts to wonder why Hank is following her around, and it leads her to wonder if he doesn’t actually trust her at all. However, she quickly realizes that he does have his reasons, and many of them have to do with the fact that he knows that something is awry. Eventually, the new White Martian arrives, and we’ve got a battle on our hands!
The big struggle at the core of this episode is actually going to be coming up a little bit later, as this White Martian starts to morph themselves into the bodies of many of the other people there. As a result of what, what we’re going to end up potentially seeing here is a tricky situation where our heroes aren’t going to know who to go after, and who is actually dangerous. Even though Kara may have X-ray vision, we’re not entirely sure that this can prepare her for what she’s up against now.
