‘Bull’ episode 12 video: Benny, Danny prepare for potential trial
Tuesday night’s new episode of “Bull” is right around the corner, and based on the latest sneak peek that we’ve got for you below, it looks as though one thing is going to be very different about this case versus some of the others that we’ve seen through the past eleven episodes: One of the members of the TAC could end up taking the stand due to a case from their past.
If you have not heard yet, the main focus of Tuesday’s episode is going to be on a woman who holds the entire team hostage, all because of the actions of one Danielle a.k.a. Danny James many years before. She blames Danny for her role in getting her husband locked up, even though she claims that he is innocent. This puts the team in one of its greatest pickles, one where they have to try and resolve this matter without anyone getting hurt. Even if it turns out that this woman is right, how much will Bull be willing to support someone who threatened to kill him and the people that he works with?
For what it’s worth, we certainly get the sense from Danny’s conversation with Benny that she is ready and willing to take the stand if need be, and she’s got the support of the team no matter what happens. She defends her actions so many years ago, and we have to imagine that for her, this is all especially challenging given that this is probably a situation that she never imagined that she would be put in at this point in her career. After joining the TAC, her hope may have been that the past was just that.
Regardless of the outcome of this episode, one of the more exciting things about it could be the opportunity to get to know more about Danny as a character than we have so far. Like many other members of the team, we’ve gotten small glimpses of her here and there but not a full-fledged feature quite like this.
