‘The Flash’ season 3, episode 10 preview: When fear gets in the way (video)
The winter premiere of “The Flash” is going to be coming to The CW come Tuesday night, and what we’ve got for you below is something that hopefully will prove satisfying for many fans of the show out there: A sneak peek that is hopefully going to provide a little bit more insight into just how the potential death of Iris in the future is going to have an enormous impact on the present.
Specifically, Barry is going to be keeping track in every single event that he saw in the future, and try to rebel against that. This is where Plunder starts to come into play. You can see the notorious thief in the sneak peek below, where it’s also clear that he comes from the Captain Cold School of Awesome Guns. At first, he seems ready to capture the bad guy (otherwise known as Jared Morillo), but soon after that, he realizes that in the future, one of the events that he saw was that Morillo was found guilty of his crimes.
What if Barry DOESN’T arrest Morillo? Is there anything different that is going to come as a result of that? There are obviously many interesting questions out there about this, and there probably will be in terms of every little action that we see Barry take over the next few episodes.
What’s especially interesting here is that it is Wally West who sweeps in and finds a way to take Morillo down. If this was any normal mission, Barry would probably be thrilled with his new sidekick-of-sorts coming to his rescue; in this instance, though, it could be a source of tension. Given that Barry is the only person with knowledge of the future, he may feel it necessary to try and control his own destiny. Given everything that is at stake, he may not be altogether interested in leaving anything to chance.
