‘The Flash’ season 3 spoilers: Meet Clive Yorkin

Flash -

Through what we’ve seen of “The Flash” through the past couple of seasons, there is a period fairly early on in the new year where the show tends to focus on isolated stories before bringing back their Big Bad for a substantial arc. This seems to be the case with Savitar at the moment, and it does make a certain degree of sense. Just remember for a minute that Savitar is someone currently displaced, so it makes sense that while the threat is at bay, some smaller adversaries would come out here and there to play.

Specifically, the upcoming February 7 episode of the show entitled “Untouchable” is going to feature Clive Yorkin, a powerful meta-human whose powers are a little bit different than some of the other adversaries that we’ve seen on the show over time. He causes humans to decompose rapidly, and that is a pretty terrifying power to happen. It’s almost like he is the human version of biological warfare. Even though The Flash as a hero may possess the ability to heal at an accelerated rate, that does not mean that he is immune to this.

Here is what makes this character specifically dangerous: Joe West is going to be one of his targets on this episode, and Iris could end up getting caught in the crossfire. Just when you started to think that Savitar was the only threat that she had to directly worry about, then comes Yorkin.

Elsewhere in this episode, let’s say that Barry is going to be doing his part in this episode to also help Wally West accelerate some of his powers. He knows that him getting up to speed (literally and figuratively) is going to be key in order to him being useful out in the field. If you’ve got this at your disposal, why would you want to utilize them to the greatest extent possible?
