See Megyn Kelly’s final farewell to Fox News (video)

One of the biggest news stories of the past week was the announcement of Megyn Kelly’s departure from Fox News, and there wasn’t a whole lot of time spent in between the departure being announced and then her saying goodbye to her show “The Kelly File.”

In the video below, you can see Kelly’s final words, ones where she thanked the majority of the viewers for sticking with her over the years, and said that she hopes to see all of them again at some point soon.

One of the interesting questions at the moment is precisely when we could actually see Kelly’s show premiere. We presume that it could theoretically be as early as the fall, but at the same time, the network has to find the right timeslot for it and that could be a challenge. As a matter of fact, that is why there are rumors out there about “Days of Our Lives” coming to an end. If Kelly’s show does end up taking that timeslot, it may not be for a whole given that you’ve got to give those writers and actors time to come up with a hitting end to the series. They deserve it given just how long this show has been on the air over time.

Perhaps the part of this story that is the most appalling of all strictly comes from reading the comments of this video, which is something that you really should never do anytime there’s a controversial topic. We got sucked in just because there were almost five dislikes for every like on the video, and we had to understand why. Never underestimate the power of the internet to allow people to say some really nasty things about someone.
