‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Liz Sandoz shares her one-night stand secret; will it blow up in her face?

Elizabeth -On the premiere of “The Bachelor,” we had a chance to meet one of the more unusual contestants in Liz Sandoz, a woman who has more of a history with Nick Viall than anyone else on this season. As a matter of fact, the two slept together after Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert’s wedding. They haven’t seen each other since, and one of the questions Nick wondered with her was why she hadn’t tried to reach out since then as opposed to going on the show, especially since his phone number was not exactly impossible for her to get.

One of the struggles for Liz for however long she’s in the competition is trying to figure out when to reveal her secret to everyone else. Is there a good time to make something like this clear? It’s challenging. We understand not going into the house night one in doing so, largely because of the fact that you’re probably going to be judged and/or hated for it. It’ll be perceived that you have an unfair advantage. If you decide to wait too long to reveal it, on the other hand, then you come across as shady.

We know now that on Monday night’s episode Liz is going to at the very least try to be honest with someone about this. According to Us Weekly, she’s going to clue in fellow contestant Christen about what happened, and we’re not entirely sure this was the right move in retrospect. It’s possible that Christen goes and blabs this to other people, especially since she doesn’t seem like the most mature person in the house. She also seems to be very judgmental about it, suggesting that this is not something she’d personally broadcast to the world on Monday-night network television. (Since when is “The Bachelor” a family show? That went out the window quite a long time ago.)

One other thing that we’ve learned recently is that there was a very minor attempt to get Liz and Nick back around each other before the start of this season, but it was to no avail. It’s something that Jade mentioned to Us following the premiere in terms of Liz wanting to get him to come to a charity event:

“She was like, ‘Why don’t you invite Nick? I kind of would like to see him again.’ And I was like, ‘OK!’ So I sent him a text, and he was like, ‘You know what, I have some things in the works,’ which was the show. He was like, ‘I don’t know if I can make it,’ and he couldn’t. So she had tried to kind of reach out, in a passive way.”

This is the thing here: If Liz had wanted to reach out to Nick, she had a fairly small window to do it given that following “Bachelor in Paradise” filming over the summer, he had to know he was likely a contender for “The Bachelor” and didn’t seen that interested in messing that you.

Do you feel for Liz, or do you think she should’ve just moved on rather than appeared on this show? Share your thoughts below, and be sure to check out a lengthy article that we did on this particular subject recently.
