‘Chicago Med’ season 2 spoilers: Stressful situations ahead for Dr. Reese

Chicago MedDr. Sarah Reese had a chance to make some significant movement forward in the first half of “Chicago Med” season 2, but at the same time, she also wrestled with an array of issues. For example, the personal connection that she forged with Danny ultimately made it all the harder for her to wrestle with what happened in the end to him. It was certainly a fate that he did not deserve, but now, she has to continue to forge a path forward in her life and her career.

Unfortunately, one episode coming up is going to make matters all the more difficult for her. On “Graveyard Shift” (airing on Thursday, January 19), Rachel DiPillo’s character is going to be taking on the challenge of working late for one, while at the same time also struggling with the fact that she has to declare multiple patients dead over the course of her shift. The longer she’s in this place, and the more we imagine that it is going to take a toll.

Speaking of things taking a toll, this episode is also going to feature Tate starting to grow increasingly concerned for April after she gets called in to work. Given everything that she is going through medically at this point in the show, there are going to be some concerns that she may be doing too much.

In reading about stories like this, we are to a certain extent all the more afraid for these characters given the news that a recurring character will not make it to the end of the season alive. These are people who are being forced to deal with a certain degree of death and danger already; what happens when they lose someone who is really close to some of them?
