Alec Baldwin ‘offers’ to perform at ‘Saturday Night Live’ inspiration Donald Trump’s inauguration

Trump -Christmas is just a matter of days a way, and with that, Alec Baldwin has apparently decided that there is one gift that he wants to keep on giving: The gift of trolling Donald Trump relentlessly. Sure, we understand that it is a very easy thing to do at this given point in time, but still.

Earlier today, Baldwin made an “offer” to the President-elect to come and perform at his inauguration, which is something that he’s not receiving a lot of these days. Unfortunately, we don’t think that Trump is going to be too eager to take on this one, either.

Through most of the fall, Baldwin’s made his opinions clear on the President-elect while impersonating him on “Saturday Night Live,” and we feel personally like a whole lot of the fun the actor is getting out of the appearance at this point stems from just how upset it seems to be making Trump. He’s attacked both him and the show multiple times on social media since the start of the season, but was rather quiet about it following the Christmas episode.

Even if Baldwin’s appearances on the show start to become a little bit more sporadic (which we assume that they will be given that we have to start preparing for the reality that this man will be the President), we imagine that we’ll still get a few more chances to see them here and there. Also, we absolutely think that “SNL” is going to find a way to spoof the inauguration next month somehow; we just have to wait and see who shows up to perform first.

This isn’t the only bit of big news that is coming out of “Saturday Night Live” this week when it comes to Baldwin; he recently also revealed that he makes far less than you would expect for him to given the amount of time it takes for him to play the role, and the sort of ratings that have come out of the appearances.
