‘NCIS’ season 14, episode 10 video: The Ducky connection

NCIS -We’re a mere matter of a day away from the newest episode of “NCIS” coming on the air, and given everything that we’re seeing in the sneak peeks below for “The Tie That Binds,” this is looking to be a rather-important episode for many characters on the show — especially Ducky.

For the second time in the past three seasons, we’re going to have a chance to see a case in which David McCallum’s character has some sort of strange connection. First, we had this back in “So It Goes,” and now here the mystery begins when Ducky’s former address is found within the pocket of a dead man. From there, the mystery deepens when in the lab, Abby makes a connection between the case and the late fiance of his mother.

How all of this adds up remains to be seen, but this is a chance for Young Ducky to turn up once more! Adam Campbell will once again be reprising the role, which should make for some fun storytelling as we dive back into an era that “NCIS” has not fully explored to date. While this is not the only character on the show to be given the flashback treatment, this is the one that receives this sort of thing most often these days. Given all of the different stories that he has, we figure that Ducky (if he really wanted to) could make a case for most interesting man in the world.

No matter what happens here, our personal hope is that it is everything that we would want in a holiday-themed episode, whether it be lighthearted, cheerful, or emotional at times. This is a time of the year to reflect, but it’s also a time of the year to be grateful for what you do have. We do believe that “NCIS” has walked that line wonderfully over the years, so this marks a golden opportunity for them to do so once more.
