‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 7, episode 10 video: Can hypnosis crack a case?

Hawaii-Five-0

It’s been a couple of weeks now since “Hawaii Five-0” had a chance to air a new episode on CBS, and by all accounts, that’s terrible. Granted, at the same time the cast and crew have to sleep sometime! It takes a lot of work, and far longer than a week, to make a single episode of this show. The break helps the network get past the scheduling minefield of Black Friday, while allowing production to stay far ahead of the curb.

Enough technical details — let’s get into the meat of this article.

For those of you who caught the repeat airing on the network last night, there was at the very least one gift bestowed upon you: A preview for what’s coming up next! Below, you can see a first look at the central mystery of “Ka Luhi,” which is going to rattle McGarrett, Danny, and the rest of the Five-0 team to extreme levels. They have a young man who confessed to the murder at the center of a cold case; however, there is a possibility that he simply doesn’t quite remember everything that happened, and the PTSD of the situation he was involved in as a child may result in him thinking things that are not necessarily true.

This brings us to the promo for this episode below, where you can see hypnosis therapy being used as a part of the search for the truth. Through this, maybe the Five-0 team figures out what really happened so long ago, and cleanse this guy of some of the guilt he’s been holding onto for the majority of his life.

While it’s not featured here, this episode will also bring your way the debut of “Rookie Blue” alum Missy Peregrym as Danny’s sister. You can check out a photo of her appearance here; she will be in town for a conference, and Danny could start investigating a potential relationship between her and a work colleague.

Sound fun? It should be, since you’ve got a perfect mixture of the case along with some personal backstory that hasn’t been fully explored on the show to date. (Photo: CBS.)
