‘Poldark’ season 2 finale preview (PBS): Teases on Ross, Demelza, and so much more

Come Sunday night, many of your favorite TV shows are going to be back. Rejoice! This includes “Poldark,” which is ending its second season in America on PBS. The finale aired in Great Britain earlier this fall, and as a result of that, we can offer you up a few teasers regarding what you can expect. Don’t worry: We’re not going to give anything major away! Just think of this as a chance to get a few more small teasers into precisely what is coming up.

Before we start, one thing to remind you of is that the series is already filming the third season, so there is no immediate need to fret about whether or not you are going to get a chance to check out some further episodes down the road.

1. There will be some resolution to the current state of things between Ross and Demelza, but remember that there is a difference between resolution and a guarantee that things will remain great forever.

2. You will have an opportunity to see Caroline and Dwight also communicate in some way following what is a lengthy amount of heartbreak that the two parties have endured.

3. As set up in the promos, Ross is going to consider reenlisting in the army, something that he knows for sure he is rather great at.

4. George will remind you on more than one occasion as to why he is the primary antagonist of the series.

5. Elizabeth’s story will reverberate most likely well into the third season.

Hopefully, PBS will air the teaser for season 3 after the episode that BBC One did following the airing of the finale. Time will tell! We’ll be back with further discussions tomorrow.
