‘DWTS Finale’ under the stars, ‘Chicken People’ breed exotic birds to win, Macy’s 90th Thanksgiving Day Parade’ live stream

chicken-peopleLast night I was flipping through the channels and came to a stark realization that New Year’s Eve is about five weeks away. If you are more of a numbers person, it’s Wednesday, November 23 and it’s precisely 38 days away until January 1st. Scary, eh? It seems like time is moving faster than ever! So what made me think of this? I was watching an old “Star Trek” movie and admiring the background of the LA based 40 Acres studio lot. The lot is now a warehouse area, but the time machine used in this episode had me wishing I could go back a few months and change a few things. I guess I should forget the time machine idea and start working on my goals for 2017. The New Year will be here in no time!

‘Chicken People’? Breeding exotic chickens to win isn’t for the birds

The competition of breeding exotic chickens is no joke. The documentary “Chicken People” premieres Wednesday night. As crazy as this suggestion sounds, you might want to tune in. The two-hour documentary is a look at the competitive world of champion show chicken breeders. You could say if these breeders don’t win someone’s feathers could be seriously ruffled. Check out this interesting documentary tonight on CMT.

‘Dancing With the Stars’ winner revealed at ‘The Grove’

If you didn’t notice last night I’ve got to tell you that the majestic surroundings of the “Dancing With the Stars” finale taping was amazing. The TV show might be on ABC, but it’s filmed in front of a live studio audience at the CBS studios. Last night the cast, crew and the large crowd came together at The Grove. It’s a very well-known open air mall only steps from the CBS Studios and the iconic LA Farmer’s Market. The stars in Los Angeles were amazing last night, but I’m not just referencing the celebrities on stage. The stars in the sky were twinkling too.

‘Macy’s 90th Thanksgiving Day Parade’ live stream, on NBC

It’s cold in New York City so obviously the “Macy’s 90th Thanksgiving Day Parade” is right around the corner. Bracing for a walk down some of the most iconic streets in America, this time honored tradition has fans around the world tuning in to watch. This year fans can still see the parade on NBC. However, if you are a little bit of a parade enthusiast, you could watch it another way. The Macy’s 90th Thanksgiving Day Parade live stream will be on Verizon’s YouTube page with 360-degree video angles. This sounds as good as watching the parade on the curb (minus the heavy  jacket, mittens and scarf.) Sounds exciting doesn’t it!

And Finally…Today is Miley Cyrus’ Birthday

The internet will be imploding in five, four, three, two, one…Now! Why? It’s Miley Cyrus’ birthday! The singer is currently on “The Voice” looking for amazing voices, but she isn’t a stranger to Hollywood. Known to cause a little distraction from time to time, she makes her voice heard. Most fans loved her work as Hannah Montana (the popular show’s marathon on Disney Channel is early next month). On November 23, Miley Cyrus turns 24!
