‘Timeless’ spoilers: Enter Bonnie and Clyde
There is certainly a degree of celebrating American folk heroes on NBC’s “Timeless,” and we cannot profess to be altogether surprised by that. These are people the majority of Americans know already, and it offers up a chance to further promo your upcoming stories by hyping up their appearance.
Now that we’ve said all of that, are Bonnie and Clyde really folk heroes? They were notorious criminals, so it all depends who you are and how you choose to view history now. Their story has certainly been romanticized over the years, so it will be interesting to see how the show chooses to present them in the upcoming November 5 episode entitled (fittingly) “Last Ride of Bonnie and Clyde.”
The first thing that we should tell you is that the famed characters are being played by Jacqueline Byers and Sam Strike. As for how they are involved, let’s just say that Lucy and company are going to need to work with them — and build some semblance of trust — in order to figure out precisely how to figure out the latest plan for one Garcia Flynn. The location will be around the area that Bonnie and Clyde were so famously a part of during the Great Depression, so this will be a very different world for these characters than they’ve inhabited to date.
Also in this episode, be prepared to see a few more pieces to the puzzle in terms of what Flynn is hunting after through time. We’ve gotten a sense to date that one of his main motivating factors is to bring back his family, but what if there is more to this story than their first seems? We’ll have more of a chance to learn in the near future.
Bonnie and Clyde are not the only notorious criminals who will be turning up on “Timeless” in the near future; as we just reported recently, you’re also going to be getting an appearance coming up from noted serial killer H.H. Holmes around the time of the famous World’s Fair in Chicago.
